This research poster will dive into the extraordinary life of mathematician/scientist Jesse Ernest Wilkins Jr. From the very beginning, Wilkins was known to be a genius. He had already earned his doctorate by the time he was 19.He was most renowned for his accomplishments in the Manhattan Project which created the nuclear bombs used in World War 2. He also wrote research papers focusing on geometry and integral equations. This poster provides information about his history as well and his accomplishments in his diverse career.

  • Chandler Minick graduated from Greenwood High School and is a Dual Engineering/Mathematics major. He plans on receiving his bachelors and immediately joining the work force as an electrical engineer in the local area.
