This research poster observes the life of the Indian mathematical prodigy Srinivasa Ramanujan. In spite of his humble beginnings and lack of college education, Ramanujan was enthralled by mathematics. He lived his life researching day by day, discovering new mathematical formulas and theorems of all kinds, from number theory, to infinite series. Though his life was short lived, his research has influenced mathematicians all over the world.

  • From Abbeville, South Carolina, Weston Reid graduated from Dixie High School, attending Lander University with a major in Mathematics Dual Engineering. He developed his passion for mathematics in high school and enjoys being self-taught new mathematical concepts, wanting to make a career path into electrical engineering and/or professing in math. Weston is also a musician, taking part in multiple ensembles over the years, and driven by excellence in academic affairs.
