Cheating In Sports

Clay McConnell

The purpose of this research is to see how different perspectives perceive the moral and ethical side of sports when it comes to cheating. This study hypothesizes that most if not all people will agree that cheating in sports is wrong no matter their gender identity. The theory I have chosen to use is the Perspective Theory, which sees society as multiplex, which promotes solidarity and stability. This theory applies directly to how people see cheating in sports. My primary objectives are to analyze how different genders and groups of people view cheating in sports. The study envisions a survey of students at Lander University to reflect how people perceive the ethics of sports cheating.
