Voluntell: A Volunteer Discovery Web App

Ryan Fyffe, Andrew Higginbotham, and Corrie McCoy

According to a study by Deliotte, 82% of interviewers said that they prefer applicants with volunteer experience. According to a study by Adecco USA, 40% of organizations have filled vacant roles with relaxed requirements. Our perception is that there is a large gap between the needs of organizations and the ability to find qualified volunteers. We offer a solution. Voluntell is a volunteer discovery website intended to allow private, public, or government organizations to find qualified volunteers for projects. Organizations and volunteers are able to create accounts, match positions with volunteers of suitable skills and experience, and have verified, digital proof of the organization and volunteers’ partnership on the project. Voluntell will guarantee that volunteers are matched with legitimate organizations and strive to provide the best possible matches for volunteer discovery.
