Topology and The Fundamental Group of the Circle

Read the PRESENTATION HERE

My project is based in algebraic topology, which is a branch of mathematics that uses tools from abstract algebra to study topological spaces. In my presentation I will define certain terms, as well as introduce theorems, lemmas, and corollaries that will allow an understanding of my overall goal. The final product of my presentation will be a proof showing that the fundamental group of the circle is isomorphic to the integers.
