The Museum: Benefits of a Public History Internship

This PowerPoint presentation explores my internship experience, its advantages as well as how it meshed with my undergraduate studies and future career. Internships are very valuable tools for college students wanting to enhance their college experience and gain real-world experience. My internship experience illuminated many advantages, enhancements, and benefits for my present and my future. This PowerPoint will describe my experience as well as highlight how my internship meshed with my studies and how well it benefited my future career in Public History.               

  • Anna Henriksen Shea graduated from Pleasant Valley High School in Brodheadsville, Pennsylvania, and is a senior Public History major with minors in European Studies and International Studies. She is currently a member of Gamma Phi Beta Sorority, Order of Omega, and Phi Alpha Theta Honor Society. Anna is working at The Museum in Greenwood with the plan to attend Graduate School to attain a Masters in Museum Studies.
