The Effects of Burnout on College Students

The consequences of burnout on college students are serious. The goal of this research project is to review the literature on published studies about college students burnout that may be found in the databases of the Lander Library. In order to protect people’s wellbeing , encourage academic achievement, support economic development, uphold wholesome social relationships, lower health care costs, and create a positive work environment, it is essential that college burnout be addressed. Ignoring the problem of burnout can have serious repercussions for people and society at large. A deeper comprehension of the effects of burnout will be advantageous to both the university and the students. Studies reveal that while burnout negatively impacts students in many ways, it may also be managed with increase  awareness, self-examination and preparation.
