How do good ideas go horribly wrong? Darwin’s theory of evolution is taken to a new level with Social Darwinism, but applying theories of nature to a social context can be problematic. This website will provide a basic overview of social darwinism, prominent people who influenced the creation of the theory, key concepts and big ideas behind it, and examples in history.

  • Morgan Ferqueron is a junior psychology major with a minor in child and family studies. She is a part of the honors college, honors college leadership council, Psi Chi, and Alpha Chi. She is also committee chair of the honors college newsletter, a LINK 101 Peer Leader, and a PSYC 101 Supplemental Instructor.
